I have been keeping very busy on several projects, one near and dear to me, our new primary bedroom and ensuite! This has been in the works for months already, but now we finally have Drywall up and from here things REALLY are going to take shape. Here are some inspo images that I've pulled from for this space. Keeping the space light and bright since we are dealing with a low ceiling (good thing we're not tall people 😏), but with some bold contemporary elements, and different textures and patterns.

Hallway transformation! This hallway wasn't doing anything for me, it was dark, boring, and as a main traffic area which connects our kitchen to our living area, it's an area I see many times a day. There are 4 doors in this small hallway, and I needed a way to elevate the look, and take attention away from the many doors. I used 3/4" x 1/4" moulding to create a paneled look following the design of the doors. It goes to show that colour and a little detail can make a HUGE impact!

A huge and integral part of the design process is having a clear idea of how the components will fit together. Material boards are excellent for this, but we also need visual tools like digital renderings. I find them especially helpful for those clients who simply cannot visualize from the materials alone. This is one of the many services I offer to my clients. We can create a complete and custom design for any space! This is one of my recent renderings for our #dreambedroomproject. Lots of tweaks to be made still but I am getting so excited to start this project!

I love it when function and beauty coexist in the same space! Our 'coat wall' was cluttered and messy, I knew there was a better way to do it! With new spaced out larger hooks, this simple paneled wall has made a world of difference in our small home - for under $100! Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest impact!

The sun is finally shining and spring is here! I for one am thrilled to say goodbye to winter. Something about a new season always makes me want to change something up inside. Did you know that painting is the number one return on investment when renovating your home? A fresh coat of paint can make a tired house look fresh and new again! Usually the hardest part is picking the right colour! Luckily I can help with that - paint consultations can be done online or in person. Contact me for more information!

Hello all! It's been a long time since I've posted here. I took some time away from the business to focus on our little, and again growing family! We are expecting a baby boy this June and are so excited! I have a few new exciting things on the horizon, and am happy to be dipping my toes back into design again. Currently I am loving everything modern farmhouse - shiplap, beams, natural tones and materials - doesn't this room look so cozy and inviting?! You could live life in this space 👌 definitely using this as inspiration for the future!
